The Planet Friendly Cotton Bud

It’s said that one reusable cotton bud can replace up to 1,000 disposable ones.

You might be thinking what on earth is this little wooden stick? This is an Oriculi, a reusable and eco friendly alternative to single use cotton buds/swabs!

Disposable cotton buds are in fact one of the most common finds on our beaches, so lets nip that in the bud 😉Yes you could swap plastic ones for single use plastic free ones made from cotton/bamboo, but when an option to use a reusable one is right here, it’s definitely the way to go.

Reusable cotton swabs have been used many many years before the disposable ones, I believe the oriculi is Japanese - but why did we ever think buying packets and packets of them would be more convenient?! Plus this one cost around £4 so it’s an absolute no brainer right?

How to use: You just use a scoop motion in your ear, and wipe away the ear wax. Easy to clean your ears, and easy to clean the bamboo oriculi!👂🏽
